Can you even believe what happened to Ethel Chisono Edwards? She basically just got roasted by the court for spitting hate at President Hichilema and now she's serving 18 months of hard time
. I mean, I get it, hate speech is a big deal, but 18 months feels kinda excessive, you feel?
She was remorseful, apologised, even did some good deeds for the community... what more do you want from her? It's like, okay, she messed up, but come on, let's not be too harsh
. And honestly, who hasn't said something they regret online at some point in their life?
I guess we just have to wait and see how the public feels about this whole thing... is it justified or is it a bit unfair?
