Trump yanks G20 invitation from South Africa over false genocide claims

I'm so worried about this ... what's going on with the US and South Africa?! Trump's decision to revoke their invite to G20 is super weird, especially considering how much trade between them means I mean, who decides that a whole country can't participate in global discussions just because of some controversy? It doesn't make sense to me... and what's with the genocide comment? There are no facts to support it! And now, this bizarre offer to send an ambassador is basically an insult? Can't they find a way to resolve their differences without hurting each other's diplomatic relations? This whole thing is super frustrating... I just hope we can see some sense being applied here

omg what's going on with trump and south africa lol I was just watching a video of elephants in nairobi and now this news is giving me a headache what's the deal with these afrikaners tho I thought they were like, super rich and stuff but apparently there's some drama going on anyway I don't think trump has any proof of anything he's just being his usual troll self I mean who uses the word "genocide" to describe something that's not even genocide anymore and now south africa is gonna be left out of the g20 summit what a shame

I don't think this is a good look for the US, revoking South Africa's invite like that. It's all about Trump's ego and playing politics with someone else's issues. White Afrikaners have been marginalized for ages in SA, but calling it a genocide? That's just not right. The US has always prided itself on being a champion of human rights... now they're doing the opposite? It's like they're trying to alienate themselves from the rest of the world. And what about all that trade between them? This is gonna hurt SA, and potentially us too, if we can't get our own act together.

I've got friends who live in SA and they're all about peace and equality. And have you seen the numbers on those trade deals with the US? That's like, a whole lot of $$$ being spent.
