It's like they're asking us to believe that a weather balloon just happened to fly over Malmstrom Air Force Base with all its fancy spy gear attached 
. And if it was indeed doing signals intelligence collection ops, then why did China try to spin it as a 'lost' weather balloon? 
Either way, it's clear that the Chinese are playing a long game here and we're just reacting to their PR spin 
. Those 2 dozen missions over five continents? That's some serious surveillance program

and meanwhile, our own military bases are basically just an open book for chinese satellites 
... but here's my two cents: if the US government knew exactly where that balloon was gonna fly and could censor some signals beforehand 
... but at the same time, I guess you can't blame 'em for trying to gather as much info as they can 
... all in all, it's like a big game of cat and mouse 
... China thinks they're sneaky, but we've got our own eyes on 'em
