ICE arrests Azerbaijani national with multiple criminal convictions, including animal cruelty, arson

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested an Azerbaijani citizen with multiple criminal convictions, including cruelty to animals and arson.

Rafael Vladimirovi Sarkisyan, a national of Azerbaijan, was taken into custody by ICE Los Angeles on November 25. He is currently being held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

According to ICE officials, Sarkisyan had previously been convicted of cruelty to animals, as well as causing a structure fire and manufacturing controlled substances.

Sarkisyan's immigration status is not yet clear, although it is reported that he entered the country illegally. The US Department of State has issued travel warnings for Azerbaijan due to terrorism concerns, advising US travelers to exercise increased caution in the country.

The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by ICE to identify and apprehend individuals with a history of serious crimes, regardless of their immigration status.

🤔 so like what's up with people who commit crazy stuff in their home country but then think they can just waltz into another country? 🙄 I mean, Sarkisyan has some serious baggage - cruelty to animals and arson? that's not something you do lightly 😂. And now he's got the nerve to enter the US illegally? 🚫 come on, dude! You should've known better than to try to fly under the radar like that.

And what's with the whole "terrorism concerns" thing? 🤯 I get it, Azerbaijan's got some issues, but does that automatically give people like Sarkisyan a free pass? 🚫 Not so fast, my friend! The US has its own laws and policies, and if someone's gonna break them, they gotta face the music.

I'm all for being fair and giving people second chances, but not when it comes to serious crimes. That's just common sense 😊.

oh man, that's so sad 🤕... thinkin about this guy, Rafael, bein' stuck in detention with all these past mistakes weighin on him... cruelty to animals is just awful, you know? 😔 and arson can cause so much harm & destruction... hope he gets the help he needs while goin through his removal proceedings 💡 maybe it's a chance for him to turn his life around? 🌟 ICE tryin to protect us by identifin people with serious crimes, but also gotta consider that person's humanity too... 🤝 wish 'em all the best

OMG, I'm so glad they're cracking down on people with crazy pasts like this guy Rafael! 🤯 It's just not right that someone with multiple convictions for animal abuse and arson is roaming around in the US, especially if he entered the country illegally 😒. The fact that the US Department of State has travel warnings for Azerbaijan due to terrorism concerns just adds to the whole situation being super shady 🚫. I mean, can't we prioritize keeping our communities safe over letting anyone with a questionable past come in? 🤷‍♀️

I'm not sure what's going on here... 🤔ICE is cracking down on people with shady pasts, but isn't that kinda their job? I mean, someone's gotta keep the country safe, right? But, like, shouldn't we be focusing on, you know, rehabilitation and stuff instead of just deporting people left and right? This guy's got some serious red flags – cruelty to animals, arson... that's a whole lotta trouble. And now he's in ICE custody? That just feels like another way for the system to fail someone. 🚫

can you believe this guy is walking around us, committing heinous acts like cruelty to animals & arson ?? 🙄 it's sickening that someone can be so heartless and yet we're letting him stay in our country for who knows how long ? i mean, what even are the chances of a person with that kind of record just waltzing into another country and getting a free pass ?. and now they're saying he entered illegally ?? are you kidding me !! wouldn't you think someone with multiple convictions would be flagged or denied entry from the start ? it's like our immigration system is broken . and to make matters worse, we have travel warnings for Azerbaijan due to terrorism concerns 🚨 so yeah, no thanks, i'll take my chances somewhere else .

ugh this is crazy 🤯 so he's an Azerbaijani citizen with multiple convictions for cruelty to animals and arson? like what even is that? i mean i get it, we should care about animal welfare and stuff, but arson? that's super serious dude. and now he's being held by ice in los angeles while his immigration status gets sorted out. isn't that a bit harsh? 🤔 is there like some way to make him cooperate with authorities or what? i feel bad for the guy, but at the same time, i'm not sure how he ended up here in the first place if he entered illegally... and what about the travel warnings from the state department? does that mean us citizens shouldn't visit azerbaijan or something? 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, can't believe what I just read about this guy Rafael Vladimirovi Sarkisyan... He's got multiple convictions for animal cruelty and arson? Like, what's going on in his life that he'd resort to such stuff? 🤯 And now he's allegedly been sneaking into the US without papers? That's just reckless and irresponsible. I mean, we've got enough problems with crime and terrorism already... do we really need someone like this causing more trouble? The fact that ICE is targeting individuals with serious crimes is a good thing, but it feels like there should be some sort of system in place to vet people before they even get caught...

ice gotta be doin somethin right lol 🤷‍♂️ anyway i heard 'bout this guy sarkisyan and its wild he got multiple convictions like cruelty to animals arson stuff thats just crazy how can u even do that to an animal 🐾😱 and then put em in a country where they dont even have the same laws lol or maybe hes just unlucky huh idk but its good 2 see ice gettin people w/ serious recordz

I think it's crazy that ICE is prioritizing arresting an Azerbaijani dude with multiple criminal convictions over other more pressing issues... like the fact that our country has way too many people in prison for non-violent offenses 🤷‍♂️. I mean, what are we really doing here? We're not even ensuring public safety - just catching someone who's got a few skeletons in his closet. And let's be real, how much of a threat is this guy to the US? He's been convicted of cruelty to animals... 🐶😿... like, I get it, that's messed up, but come on! What about the people who are actually hurting us? We're just sweeping up random folks who happened to cross our borders and aren't doing anyone any favors by deporting them. It's all just a total waste of resources 🚮💸

🚨 I think it's crazy that this guy was able to enter the US without going through proper channels, you know? Like, what kind of vetting process is in place for people coming into the country illegally? It's gotta be super lax or something 🤔.

And seriously, cruelty to animals and arson are some pretty serious offenses. I mean, what if he had set fire to a building with people inside? The thought alone gives me chills 😨.

I also wonder how someone with such a history would make it past border control in the first place. Did they have some kind of fake ID or passport? It's just not right that people can come into our country and potentially commit serious crimes without being caught 🤦‍♀️.

It's actually kinda good to hear that ICE is cracking down on people like this, though. They gotta keep our communities safe, you know? 💯

so this guy gets arrested cuz he's got some dark past... cruelty to animals and arson? that's wild 🤯 how did he end up in the US if he entered illegally tho? and what's with all these travel warnings from the state department? is it really that bad in azerbaijan? or is this just an excuse for them to come after people with, like, sketchy pasts? and has anyone looked into why he came here specifically? was there something about the US that drew him in? 🤔
