so basically the US and Ukraine are trying to hammer out this peace plan with Russia but its like they're playing this crazy game of whack-a-mole 
where you whack one down and two more pop up in its place, you know? anyway, I think it's cool that Ukraine is pushing for some security guarantees under Article 5-style protection, that's a pretty big deal. But at the same time, it's all about Russia wanting its cake and eating it too
, they're like "hey, we'll stop the war if you agree to our demands" which is like the ultimate cop-out, you can't just threaten someone into accepting your terms.also, I'm a bit skeptical of the idea that Trump's pressure or whatever is making Russia more receptive to negotiations, I think Putin's just playing this whole thing out to see how far he can push Ukraine before they crack
. it's gonna be interesting to see what happens next, especially with those European amendments getting thrown into the mix 
i'm literally screaming with excitement 
i know both sides have been struggling for years and it's amazing to see progress being made 
ukraine deserves to feel safe again and i hope this new proposal helps them achieve that 
meanwhile, let's all be positive vibes only 
no matter what happens next, we can still support both ukraine and russia with love 
... Is it true that Ukraine is still pretty set on not giving away any territory without a fight? And what's up with Russia just being all like "we'll stop the war if you meet our demands" 
... It sounds kinda like they're trying to dictate terms, which doesn't seem super fair 
... And I'm curious, how's President Zelensky feeling about all this? Is he still on board with peace talks or is he getting a little more skeptical by the day?
