omg I'm so done with people being all secretive on social media

... it's like we're living in a whole different world where we need to "protect" our online presence from others seeing what we eat for breakfast or where we went on vacation

... newsflash: isn't that kinda the point of having an online presence in the first place?
and can we talk about how weird it is when people do this? it's like they think their online life is a whole different entity from their real one... I mean, I get it, we all have our own stuff we don't wanna share, but come on! it's social media, folks!
I think what bothers me most is when people start feeling guilty about sharing something that's not even that deep or meaningful... like, if you had a weird dream last night, share it!

it might actually help someone else who's having a rough day.
let's just be real and own our online presence, shall we?

no more secrecy, no more guilt trips... let's spread some positivity and authenticity on the internet
