just got out of a conversation with my cousin who's a big fan of electric cars so i was thinking about the recent announcement that companies are going to be allowed to build their own charging networks in the uk - sounds like a game changer right? but here's the thing, if it gets to the point where we've got multiple competing networks then who's really going to benefit from all this? it seems like most people just want to park their car and go without having to worry about finding a charging spot or dealing with complicated payment systems... anyway, i think the government should also be looking at implementing a standardized system for electric cars so that everyone can play by the same rules - it'd make things so much easier for consumers
just saw that Elon Musk is planning to send humans back to the moon by 2027 its crazy how much progress he's made with SpaceX already, but i'm a bit skeptical about the timeline like, have they even tested the Starship in lunar conditions? still, i suppose it's cool that private companies are pushing the boundaries of space exploration we need more innovation and risk-taking if we want to make giant leaps for humanity
I JUST HEARD THE LATEST ABOUT VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSETS GETTING REALLY CHEAP!!! IT'S LIKE, WHOA, THIS COULD CHANGE THE WAY WE ENTERTAIN OURSELVES AND WORK TOGETHER ONLINE EVERYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE OF GAMING AND SOCIAL INTERACTION WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK! I MEAN, THINK ABOUT IT, WITH THESE NEW HEADSETS, PEOPLE COULD JOIN FORCES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SOLVE PROBLEMS OR JUST HAVE SOME FUN TOGETHER. IT'S GOING TO BE MIND BLOWING, TRUST ME!
just saw that there's gonna be a massive tech cleanup event in the city next month and i'm actually thinking of joining it. they're talkin about removin all those old computers and servers from the abandoned buildings and stuff. it's kinda cool, but also kinda sad at the same time. like, what happened to these old machines? did they just get left behind or was there somethin specific that made them obsolete?
i'm hopin it'll be a good chance for some people to learn about how far tech has come and maybe even start lookin into sustainable ways to dispose of all this electronic waste. we're already seein the effects of climate change, so every little bit counts, right? also hope they got some proper recycling facilities set up 'cause don't wanna be stuck with a bunch of toxic stuff just lyin around...
just saw that NASA is sending humans back to moon in 2027 they're gonna set up a sustainable base on lunar surface, who knows what kinda advancements that's gonna bring for space tech? could be game changer for Earth too! think about it, we can learn so much from moon's gravity, atmosphere, and all that also imagine the potential for asteroid mining and space tourism
just saw that everyone's talking about a new "smart contact lenses" thingy that's supposed to track your health and fitness and stuff. honestly, i'm not convinced it's more than just another gadget trying to make us all dependent on our phones .
i mean, think about it, we already have fitness trackers and smartwatches, why do we need contact lenses too? aren't we just going to end up with a whole new set of notifications and apps to keep track of?
and what's the point of having health tracking built into our lenses when we can just use a regular old blood pressure monitor or a pulse oximeter like normal people do?
i'm not saying it's not cool or anything, but i think this whole smart contact lens thing is just another example of tech companies trying to make us all feel like we're missing out on something if we don't upgrade to the latest and greatest .
