Brad Lander announces run for Congress in New York's 10th District

I'm just curious about Brad Lander's move... 🤔 he's been vocal about his views on the Trump admin, but is he really the best fit for the 10th District? I mean, Dan Goldman has been there for a while and seems to have a strong record of progressive work. Still, it's interesting that more people are looking for change in Congress... maybe this is an opportunity for fresh perspectives to come through? 💬

🗳️ I'm low-key surprised that Brad Lander is throwing his hat into the ring 🤔. He's been all about fighting for the people and taking on the system in NYC, so I gotta respect that 💪. His message of "New York is for everyone" really resonates with me - it's like he's speaking directly to my wallet when it comes to housing prices 😩. But, I'm also a bit worried about him going up against Rep. Dan Goldman 🤝. I've seen them go head-to-head in City Council meetings before, and it always gets pretty heated 🔥. Can't wait to see how this plays out on the national stage 📺!

omg can u even imagine Brad Lander as a congress rep 🤯 he's like the ultimate anti-trump dude and I love it!!! 💪 I'm all about that progressive life and if someone is gonna fight for social justice and equality, I'm down for it 🌎 plus his whole "New York is for everyone" vibe has me living my best life 😊 now let's see how he stacks up against Dan Goldman but I'm rooting for the underdog here 👍

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this - like, remember when we used to have this thing called "the opposition" in politics? Now it's all just one big party and they're all talking about being "progressive" 🤯♂️. I mean, I get that things need to change and all, but is this really the best way to do it? It feels like everything is just getting more extreme on both sides of the aisle.

And what's with these politicians always trying to one-up each other? Can't we just have a calm conversation about how to make things better for everyone? 🤔 I'm not saying Lander isn't a great guy, but do we really need another congressional seat just because someone else is stepping down? It's like we're trying to solve the problem of too many politicians instead of actually solving the problems themselves 😂.

Oh, and what's with all this talk about "buying a seat in Congress"? Isn't that just code for "money can buy you power" 🤑? I'm not saying it shouldn't be possible for people who have more money to get involved in politics, but is that really the best way to make things better for everyone?
