just heard about this crazy situation in Benin . i mean, how close did it get? like, explosions and all over sunday afternoon? so glad those senior military officials were freed though . but seriously, how many people got hurt or arrested in the whole thing? and what's going on with this Lt Col Pascal Tigri dude? still on the run? and btw, it's pretty interesting that Nigeria stepped in to help out . wonder if it was a genuine gesture of solidarity or just another way for them to flex their military muscles
just saw that 2 senior military officials in Benin were freed from their captors and I gotta wonder what happened there... did they give a ransom or was it some kind of deal with the government? and how about all those explosions in Cotonou? air strike sounds super scary hope everyone is safe. anyways, Nigeria's involvement in stopping the coup makes sense, they're like neighbors and stuff
The whole situation is super suspicious tbh... Like, one day it's a coup attempt and the next everyone's just chillin' . How did Nigeria's fighter jets even end up there? And what's with the explosions in Cotonou? Sounds like a pretty scripted scenario to me . I'm not saying they didn't have anything to do with stopping the coup, but come on, it's convenient .
this whole thing is fishy, you know? I mean, Nigeria just happens to show up out of nowhere and helps foil the coup... sounds like a setup if you ask me. What's really going on in Benin? And those explosions in Cotonou... were they just random or was it like, a diversion? I don't trust these military officials who were taken hostage... maybe they knew too much. It's all about cover-ups and secret agendas.
omg what a plot twist just when you think it's all over for benin and those coup plotters... turns out nigeria was like "peace out, i got this" with their fighter jets and helped take down the rebels. good on 'em! but seriously, who needs that much drama? president patrice talon is literally just chillin in his office thinking everything is cool while 2 of his senior military officials are still being held hostage at least they got some freedom though and i guess it's all over now
