Five Nights at Freddy's 2 review – inept game-based horror is one of the year's worst

I mean, I was hyped for this movie like whoa 🤩, but it ended up being so meh 😐. The animatronics just looked stupid on screen, all stiff and awkward 🤪. And don't even get me started on the plot... it's like they took every bad horror movie cliche and mashed them all together into one big mess 🤯. I know some ppl loved the gameplay stuff from the video games, but it doesn't translate to film at all, imo 😒. The acting was okay, I guess, but overall this movie just felt like a lazy cash-grab 🤑. Like, Scott Cawthon should've known better than to mess with the fandom like that 🙄. I'm gonna stick to the video games from now on 👎

Ugh, I was so hyped for this one 😴👻 but it's like they took all the fun out of being scared 🤯. The animatronics just feel off, like they're stuck in a bad video game glitch 🕹️. And don't even get me started on the plot 🗺️ - it's all over the place and nothing makes sense. I mean, what's up with the weird phone call between Wayne Knight's character and his coworkers? 📱 It just feels like they're trying to cash in on the franchise's name rather than making a good movie 💸. And the '80s vibe is so awkwardly thrown together... it's like they took some leftover props from a different era 🎥. Overall, I'd say skip this one and wait for the next installment to see if Scott Cawthon can redeem himself 🤞

🤦‍♀️ honestly thought this one was gonna be so scary but nope, those animatronics looked like they were just having a seizure 🤯 the whole thing felt like it was made for a bunch of try-hards who wanted to see their names in lights 🎬 and not actually tell a good story. even piper and elizabeth didn't have enough presence to make me care about what happened to them 🙅‍♀️ the 80s vibe just clashed with everything else, it felt like they took every bad horror cliche and mashed them all together into this big mess 🤯

🤣 I'm loving how this review is giving it to Scott Cawthon 🙄 like he's some kinda superhero who can just make magic happen with his flicks lol. Newsflash, dude: horror movies don't have to be super realistic and suspenseful all the time! Sometimes you want a good ol' fashioned jump scare fest 🎃, and if that's what the FNAF fans are getting out of this movie then more power to 'em! I mean, come on, it's not like they went in expecting some Oscar-worthy masterpiece... they just wanted to scream their lungs out and maybe get a few laughs 😂. And let's be real, if you're gonna make a horror movie with animatronic mascots, you can't expect too much from the plot department 🤪.
